Class one is designed to be a design class. New York Beauty has a variety of ways to be laid out. Class one will be a lecture on how EQ8 works as well as a design course to build your own size and quilt layout. We will print the fabric requirements and selected quilt design for each student in class. After your pattern is selected and printed there will be time to help with choosing fabrics.
Class two you will bring the fabrics prepped and ready to paper piece four blocks. You will get patterns for five. You will build four blocks in class and then take the fifth and copy it onto Carol Doak's legal size Foundation Paper. MAKE SURE you copy it at actual size.
Class three is a finishing class to lay out the pattern on the design wall or table and get numbered as well as begin sewing together the strips so you are ready to complete the quilt top. Begin sewing top together.
You will not need a machine or sewing equipment the first class.
