Sewing Machine Cover
1st class will be paper piecing and customizing pattern measurements for your machine, so bring the machine you are making the cover for or the dust cover that came with the machine.
Homework between classes will be putting the pieces together and quilting them
2nd class will be assembly of the cover.
Supplies:
Sewing Machine
Rotary Cutter and Mat
Basic sewing supplies
1 yd of 58" wide Bosal or Annie's Soft and Stable.
Thread to match
Needle size Microtex 70/10 or 75/11 for paper piecing
Fabrics:
1 yd for front background
1/2 yd for background for paper piecing
1/2 yd for back and side pocket
1/2 yd for sides
1-1/2 yd for lining
1/2 yd for binding
18 assorted colors/patterns for paper piecing: either 1/8 yd or (1) 10" square per color or pattern
1/3 yd velcro for (optional if you have a thread stand that stays on your machine).
