Diamond Quilt: Beyond an On-Point Quilt

Don't be afraid of the bias!!  Instead, learn to work with a bias using a diagonal approach to put your quilt rows together to achieve a diamond quilt!  This class will teach students how to make the Diamond Quilt for the Hexagons from the class on October 9 (Click  HERE  to see more about the Hexagon Class).  Nancy will take students through the design, cutting, and piecing the Diamond Quilt to achieve a lovely new approach to add to your arsenal of quilt design ideas!

The goal of this class is to teach you how to properly design the layout for the diamonds and sew a diagonally laid out quilt. How to pin the seams so that the pieces come together with clearly defined points. We will demonstrate how to use the ruler to cut the side, bottom and corner triangles.
