Baby Bella Judy Neimeyer with Lucille Amos



If you have been wanting to dip your toes into the Judy Neimeyer Quilting world, but not sure where to start, Baby Bella will get you going!  This short, two-session course will prepare students for bigger projects down the road by introducing you through a manageable project.  Baby Bella is a small wall-hanging, measuring approximately 35" x 35".  Lucille teaches using a hands-on approach and will have you begging for more Judy Neimeyer classes! 

General Supply List:
Fabric & pattern
Sewing machine with 1/4" foot. Snap on table that attaches to your sewing machine, if possible.
Cutting mat (Medium sized)
6 x 24 ruler
6 x 12 ruler
Scissors
Rotary cutter with sharp blade and replacement blade
Seam Ripper
Needles - Size 70 sharp Microtex


Paper Piecing Supplies:
12" Add-A-Quarter ruler
Scotch Tape
Glue Stick
Glue Pen
Flower Pins
Large Ziplock Bags
Large Paper clips
High Quality thread
Template plastic for fold template (3" x 12")

Skill Details: This class is meant to introduce students to foundational paper piecing. Adventurous beginners through advanced students are welcome to come and learn!
Requirements: After reading over pattern; please place a swatch of fabric on the ?assigned color? Section of the Unit Chart A. Unit A ? page 4 of pattern. Cut 1 ? 4 ?? x 42 strip from Background Fabric A1. Accent Fabric A2 ? cut 1 ? 2 ?? x 42 strip from Fabric A2. Background Fabric A3 ? cut 1 ? 7 ?? x 42 strip and 1 ? 6 ?? x 42 strip from Background Fabric A3. On page 11 of your pattern; place a swatch of fabric on the ?assigned color? Section of the Unit Chart C. Cut from background fabric C1 ? 4 ? 4 ?? x 42 strips. Cut from accent fabric C2 ? 3 ? 4 ?? x 42 strips. Cut from Background fabric D1 ? 4 ? 5 ?? x 42 strips. Cut from Fabrics D2 and D3 ? 2 ? 2 ?? x 42 strips from each fabric. You will need to label strips and place them in ziplock bags as you pattern indicates. We will do template layout cutting in class.
