Slow Stitching: Big Stitch

Have you heard about the benefits of "Slow Stitching?"  They can include reducing stress and anxiety, plus slowing down your sewing can help you detox from computer screens, and other high-paced activities of our new world.  We are introducing a series of Slow Stitching classes to reintroduce our sewing friends to a slower pace that can be practiced anywhere you can carry along a small basket or sewing project bag.

Slow Stitch will begin with a long-stitch pillow!  This technique will allow you to hand-stitch your quilt tops using a method that is relatively less time intensive or tedious like regular hand quilting can be.  You'll walk away from this class with a precious pillow and the skills to hand quilt your next quilt when you feel it is time to slow down and enjoy your quilting by using it for relaxation!
